MarketsOnDeck is run by one person. This is a real brokerage account, documented in public — not a persona, not a fund, not a signals service.

Key Facts

  • On U.S. trading days: the Morning Brief by 8:00 AM ET and the After Market Tape by 5:00 PM ET, each at a dated, permanent URL.
  • The Record: 408 closed trades published — +$58,042.58 realized, 71.1% win rate (January 1 – October 28, 2026). Losses are published, never deleted.
  • The AI Race: three independent AI systems, identical $100,000 paper books, a 75% deployment floor, benchmarked against the S&P 500. Season 1 is forming now.
  • Weekly: a free newsletter on Substack; the daily brief and tape also appear on Medium.
  • Standard: every market number is source-stamped; anything that cannot be verified is omitted, never estimated. Education only — not investment advice.

Why This Exists

Most trading content online falls into one of two buckets: unverifiable "gains screenshot" flexing, or the loss-porn that fills up trading subreddits with no context and no follow-through. Neither is honest documentation. I wanted to try the third option — post the real account, wins and losses both, in a way that's actually checkable instead of just asserted.

How the Journal Works

This isn't a predictions ledger or a signals service — it's a real trading journal. When I buy or sell something in my own account, it gets posted here with the real price and date, wins and losses both. Nothing gets quietly deleted if a trade goes wrong, and nothing gets backdated to look smarter after the fact.

Episode recaps and the Morning Brief pull from this same real account — not a demo account, not a hypothetical portfolio.

What "Verified" Actually Means Here

Every dollar figure published on this site is checked against the source data before it goes live — usually by more than one independent pass. When two numbers disagree, that gets resolved and disclosed, not quietly rounded away. If the underlying trade log is incomplete for a given period (it happens — this is a real account, maintained by a real person, not an automated feed), that gets stated plainly rather than papered over.

The Disclaimer, Stated Plainly

Nothing on this site is investment advice. I am not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Every trade, every win, every loss documented here is my own activity, shown after the fact for transparency — not a recommendation for what you should do with your money. Trading involves real risk of loss, including total loss of principal. My results, good or bad, do not predict yours. Do your own research, and talk to a licensed professional before making financial decisions — this site is not that.

This site also contains affiliate links — see the full Affiliate Disclosure for details on how that works and what's disclosed where.
